Careers talk
On Monday we hosted Mr Andrew Hood for a careers talk for year 10. Mr Hood is a senior lawyer from London and was a legal advisor to David Cameron’s Government during the Brexit talks and the early stages of the Syrian Crisis. His talk described how he rose from humble beginnings in Portsmouth to a very senior role within the Government legal department. His talk was fascinating and inspiring and gave a real insight into the how Government works and how monumental national decisions are made. It would be great to think that some of our pupils will rise, like him, to be at the centre of Westminster in future helping to shape our country.
