GCSE Success
It has been another fantastic set of results for our students. 87% of pupils achieved a grade 4 (old C grade) in maths and 86% achieved the grade in English which is well above national averages.
Nearly half our pupils achieved at least one 7-9 / A-A* grade, with many pupils achieving 5 or more of these top grades including 16 pupils who achieved the new grade 9s (which is beyond an old A*). Milly Gibson achieved 7 grade 9s which put her in the top 700 pupils in the country!
We are absolutely delighted with these results. Our pupils have worked incredibly hard and fully deserve these outstanding grades. What is particularly pleasing is the amount of progress our pupils have made since primary school with large numbers of pupils exceeding national expectations by over a grade per subject. Special mention has to be made of Oliver Bazeley who achieved an average of 3 grades higher than national expectations in all his GCSE courses.
Well done year 11!
